I left wanting to get to Alaska. I didn't expect to make it. My dog would get car sick any time I tried to take her for  ride. I didn't expect the dramamine to work. I expected would get car sick, I would turn around and go home. The dramamine worked and on the 5th day of travel, I didn't even give her the medicine. We made it all the way to Tok, Alaska. Alaska didn't get sick once.

Okay, we made it to Alaska. Now what? Having not expected to make it all the way, I hadn't made any reservations. And too! Traveling with a dog sure does increase the cost of lodging with the addition of pet deposit. I left the camper at home. My thinking was, it would be to much for me to try and take care of Alaska and deal with towing a camper too.
