Alaska - To Seward

I hope you and those close to you are well and life is good. I had a good drive from Homer to Seward, AK, today. I was again, able to drive through the burn area with active fire fighters on each side of the road. I saw several groups of fire fighters huddled around as if having meetings. I didn’t have much traffic either. I made it to where am staying and setup camp. I took advantage of having full hook ups for the camper and rinsed out my tanks. I then cleaned up a bit before going into Seward. I went into town to check in for tomorrows excursion on the waters of Kenai Fjords National Park. I also found the place to buy some Halibut pieces. I was going to go back to camp and cook but decided I was to hungry to wait the drive back and then cook. I decided to eat at Ray’s Waterfront. I had some good halibut fish and chips. While eating, I watched a vessel having engine trouble hit the dock. That was interesting to watch. No damage and no one was hurt. The vessel was able to dock and it wasn’t long before they were trying to fix it. I paid my bill and on my way out of town, stopped to get some beer. I have been relaxing the rest of the time in my camper. It has been a cool day. A nice break from the heat. I made a new video of my first day at Brooks Falls.
